Hello, Hello from pleasantly chilled Wilmington! It's the beginning of December and it's only JUST turned cold (barely!) Thanksgiving was great this year, Michael and I had it at our house in Washington. Our friend Dan smoked a turkey and I made stuffing, FROM SCRATCH, thankyyouverymuch! Also, my friend Erin and I made some yummy cranberry-meringue tarts, recipe courtesy of www.marthastewart.com.
Now I am really looking forward to Christmas! I just helped some friends put up decorations around their home and it made me feel all warm and cozy inside. Not sure if the WA house is decorated or not, but I'm working on our place in Carolina, for sure! And speaking of Christmas, I'd like to thank everyone who so thoughtfully contributed to my goodiebox of Christmas candles! I have them up in my trailer and it's never smelled so yummy!!
Monica Ward, Cristel Spotti, Stephanie Treventi, Rachel at Fan Forum(thank you for your letter especially--be encouraged) Alisha, Candice, Kalla, Paulina, and Sofia. A special thank you, also to Nicole Pelletier!
Other than that, things are pretty quiet 'round these parts. My music producer, Ron, and I are full-steam-ahead writing our stage musical, and hope to be in some kind of production (workshops, recording, etc) by the end of 2007 at the latest (I wish I could tell you more, but until we get the rights, my lips are sealed). Enation are doing very well, having just finished their 2nd album, "Where The Fire Starts". The record is really incredible recalling hints of Radiohead, U2 and Smashing Pumpkins... I'm very excited for it's release. You can find out more at EnationMusic.com
I wanted to mention, as a side note, that I am NOT pregnant! LOL I've been on some of the message boards and I see that some of you are buzzing with curiosity! Michael and I will have children (lots of them) someday, but right now I'm just gaining an extra few pounds and drinking lots of water to puff up my stomach and look a little plump for Haley's first trimester.... SO, I hope that puts all the questions to rest. Elsewhere, I just saw "Happy Feet" which is adorable and really funny... Nicole Kidman does a dead-on Marilyn Monroe. Here's my list of holiday movies I will most likely be watching before January:
Holiday Inn
It's a Wonderful Life (of course)
The Family Man
The Bishop's Wife and
Christmas in Connecticut - it's a little cheesy, but still fun.
Nothing more to say but have a FABULOUS winter and merry Christmas!! Lots of love and thanks and I hope you all have a wonderful, wonderful Holiday!
xoxo Bethany
